The NYHDA offer continuing
education programs for
members and affiliates to
improve knowledge in different
areas of our profession.
The NYHDA works at state and
local level to improve the oral
health services for our
communities and the standards
of work for our dental teams.
The NYHDA chapter has been growing continuously since its inception in 2010. Membership has been increasing via social events, sponsoring enriching continuing education courses, dental outreach and activities throughout the city and abroad. There has been increased visibility via social media which has led to continuous increases in corporate sponsorship. The chapter has also Initiated and participated in dental humanitarian service projects to treat the underserved in the Dominican Republic.
The HDA/NHMA National Health Conference 2020 was postponed due to restrictions caused by the COVID-19. Possible rescheduling in early fall. We will keep you informed as details are available.
